Fitness tea

The arrival of the summer changes and improves our mood. It makes us feel more comfortable, alive, and creative.

When the first high temperatures began, the obligations are reduced, the clothes are less, and we are looking forward to the moments when we will go out to the beaches to enjoy the sun and the sea.

But during the winter months, we often neglect the body care. Therefore, the arrival of spring and summer will help us put ourselves together and starting a diet with high nutrition value.

There are only a few "things" that will slim our silhouette

  • consume plenty of fruits and vegetables
  • reduce sugar and salt
  • avoid fatty foods
  • drink a lot of liquids

In particular, green tea is indicated for weight loss and the prevention of cellulite in a balanced diet. The strong antioxidant activity of polyphenols, such as catechins and other valuable antioxidants, cleanse the body from accumulated toxins, reduce stress and pleasantly refresh us during difficult, hot summer days.

TeaTime suggests the following three varieties:

Detox green tea with pieces of dried orange, lemon grass and anise.

White tea for slimming with lemon balm leaves and lemongrass.

Green tea for slimming with lemon balm leaves and nettle leaves.

Preparation

For 1L cold tea

  • fill 1L (1 pitcher) of cold water at tap temperature.
  • add 12 gr. tea leaves (6 – 7 tsp.) on tea filters and let them sit in water. Leave for about 20 minutes at room temperature.
  • remove the tea leaves from the water and refrigerate it for about 5 - 10 hours.
  • we serve iced tea with a pile of ice cubes and any other fruits, seasonings, herbs of our choice.

TIPS: If you like to sweeten your teas you can do it using dried leaves of stevia!
